Kleihues + Kleihues Architekten

S+P had just successfully completed work for the Concorde Hotel designed by Jan Kleihues, when K+K won the competition for the new headquarters of the BND (Germany's Federal Secret Service) to be erected in Berlin, a huge 720m euro building. In need for additional staff, they offered us positions in their office, which I accepted (Frank Schraml followed later).
From June 2006 to June 2009, I worked as an employed architect on that project, where I was mainly responsible for the ~30,000sqm roofing and related details.
The nature of the projects prohibits giving work examples.
